I am a fourth-year dental student at Western University, seeking an associate position as a General Dentist upon my graduation in June 2020. My goal is to work in a patient-centered environment where I can contribute to practice growth, while honing my knowledge of dentistry and professional skills. Throughout dental school, I have consistently ranked among the top of the class (1st or 2nd out of 56 students). As well, as a testament to my work ethic, I was able to publish my research works during my Master’s education. In addition to my academic success, I am a well-rounded individual who builds great rapport with patients. My instructors and patients have often given high regard towards my work and communicative abilities. I strongly believe that my work ethic, positive attitude, communication skills, and attention to detail will allow me to be an asset to your practice.
Through dental school, shadowing, community service, and participation in various dental-related activities, I have gained exposure to all disciplines of dentistry. Recently, I took part in a humanitarian mission in Jamaica, which offered extractions, restorative dentistry, and education to Jamaicans in the Brompton region. The experience highlights my desire to help others and my ability to empathize with diverse groups of people. Although I will be a newly graduated dentist, I am eager to apply my knowledge and clinical experience to diagnose and treat patients under the mentorship of an experienced dentist. Besides dentistry, my passions in life include hockey, other sports, camping, and spending time with friends and family.
